Dehydrated sorbitol fatty acid ester(Span) is an nonionic surfactant which taking the fatty acid group as the discharging part and the dehydrated sorbitol as the hydrophilic part.

Use

In the pharmaceutical industry, the Span series product is widely used in each kind of dosage-form end product drug processing, is used as the injection and oral liquid's solubilizer and emulsifier, as the tablet's disintegrating agent, as the capsule's dispersing agent, the ointment use emulsifier and matrix, the suppository use matrix and so on. Span and Tween series products are the most commonly used emulsifiers in the food industry.

Packing, Storage & Transportation

Should store to ventilative cool place, the temperature should be lower than 40 °C; to prevent the insolation, high temperature and moist, strictly prohibits the open fire. The transportation process should avoid fierce collision. Storing guarantee period is two years.
